The incredible career of Claire CHARLES (Géologie, 2018)

Viewed 452 times

Claire CHARLES (Géologie, 2018) is currently a researcher at the Geochemical Cycles and Resources Laboratory (LGC) of Ifremer.

There she studies the seabed and in particular the ferromanganese crusts of the Mozambique Channel, between East Africa and Madagascar.

How did Claire become a researcher ?

During her Geology Engineering training at UniLaSalle, Claire had the chance to work in research. It was precisely at that moment that she knew she wanted to make a career out of it: "I became passionate about research", she explains.

At the end of her engineering course, Claire did an internship at Ifremer. This internship led to her current thesis.

What a great career path, well done Claire!
