Alumni join forces with Philippe Pouillart

Viewed 168 times

Philippe Pouillart, lecturer and researcher at UniLaSalle Beauvais, PhD in immunopharmacology and specialist in healthy eating, has published a new book by Éditions Privat: Soigner son assiette pour mieux vivre pendant un cancer.

This 200-page guide offers practical, caring and scientifically-based support for cancer sufferers, their families and healthcare professionals. It approaches diet as a genuine therapeutic support, focusing on preventing undernutrition and managing the side effects of treatment, without ever sacrificing the pleasure of eating.

What else makes this book so rich? The participation of 35 chefs and cheffes from French gastronomy, including several UniLaSalle alumni, who have put their talent at the service of this cause. Among them:

  • Romain LE GAL (Agriculture, 2012, Beauvais), MOF Fromager-Crémier, consultant.

  • Coline POUILLART (Food & Health, 2015, Beauvais), event catering chef and pastry chef, also a candidate inObjectif Top Chef 2019.

Their recipes have been reworked with Philippe Pouillart's team to become simple, tasty, nutritionally balanced and accessible dishes.

🥄 A fine example of synergy between science, gastronomy and commitment, driven by the UniLaSalle community!
