Alexia judged at the Concours Général Agricole

Viewed 117 times

Every year, at the Salon International de l'Agriculture (SIA), lovers of fine local produce gather for the famous Concours Général Agricole.

At the heart of this competition, the jurors play a crucial role, and one of them is an Alumni: Alexia FRANQUIN GAUTIER (Food & Health, 2018, Beauvais).

On D-day, an atmosphere of concentration and excitement reigns, and after a quick briefing on the rules of the game, it's time to get down to business.

The products, presented anonymously, undergo a meticulous examination. Color, smell, taste, texture... Everything is gone through with a fine-tooth comb to determine the medallists of excellence.

A Concours Général Agricole medal is more than just a trophy; it's a recognition of producers' know-how and a guarantee of quality for consumers.

At the end of the day, the jurors leave with a sense of accomplishment, proud to have contributed to highlighting the best of French gastronomy. Thanks to their commitment, the medal-winning products will enjoy a year of well-deserved glory.
