"Chroniques d'un monde handicapé" is the latest book by Margaux GAMBIER ( Alimentation & Santé, 2022, Beauvais), who, with humor and self-mockery, depicts her daily life in a wheelchair and the often absurd situations she is confronted with because of her genetic disability. At the age of 26, she shares her experiences with sensitivity and a touch of comedy.

Already the author of seven books, Margaux's latest work tackles society's sometimes strange perception of disability.

Her connection with writing goes back to her childhood, when books represented an escape from the challenges imposed by her illness. Through her writing, she expresses a range of emotions, from anger and hope to frustration and humor. She is gradually discovering the power of words to unite and soothe.

The Alumni highlights the importance of humor in dealing with the daily challenges of disability. Her book highlights funny situations as well as concrete obstacles such as the inaccessibility of public places. She stresses the need to change the way disability is portrayed in the media and society in general.

Beyond anecdotes, the former student aims to raise awareness and contribute to a change in mentality. She encourages dialogue and tolerance towards diversity. Her work, imbued with self-mockery and hope, offers a universal vision of the human condition and invites reflection on inclusion and respect for others.
