UniLaSalle Amiens hosted a conference for Procter & Gamble, Amiens' largest private employer. Three representatives were present: Fabien Pierron, HR Director, Céline Fricourt, Recruitment Manager, and Adrien BRIOY (Energy Engineering & Digital Systems, 2011, Amiens), Packaging Project Manager at Procter.

Adrien presented his career path since graduating from UniLaSalle, explaining his role at Procter & Gamble. Responsible for technical developments on packaging production lines, he described an industry where jobs are varied and constantly evolving. He encourages students to get away from the preconceived notion of the "washing powder factory" and show just how innovative the Amiens site is.

Fabien Pierron also detailed the plant's supply chain, from supplier management through production and distribution to the end consumer. Every day, 30 million users benefit from products manufactured at the Amiens plant. The site is also a distribution center for P&G products throughout Europe. Some 300 trucks pass through the site every day.

Céline Fricourt explained the recruitment process: CV submission on pgcareers.com, tests, then interviews. The objective? To check that candidates match the values and know-how essential for joining Procter & Gamble.

Many questions were asked following the presentation, enabling UniLaSalle students to gain a better understanding of the jobs and opportunities offered by Procter & Gamble.
