The association Les SouterReines is an association of women and men who share and exchange around the issue of women in the construction industry. Led by Marion LE BATARD (Geology, 2006), the young woman, committed and passionate about the construction industry, wishes to promote these jobs, especially to women who, like her, will be able to blossom in an activity that is often ignored by women.

It is clear that women are very interested in the construction industry. One need only point out the number of companies that are developing strategies to feminize and increase the gender mix of their trades.

The rapid increase in the number of people interested and involved in this challenge has led to the creation of the association.

The association will enable the piloting of projects involving actors from private companies, training organizations, local authorities, etc.

The objectives of the association are :

To promote the construction industry,
To participate in the removal of obstacles to the hiring of women
To participate in the evolution of mentalities concerning the place of women in the building and public works sector.
To help companies, whatever their size, to feminize their teams
The different actions of the association are :

The elaboration of partnerships with companies of the building and public works sector (4 partnerships realized with Sefi-intrafor, Cap Conseil, Capocci and NGE; in progress with Vinci Construction) & engineering schools
Participation in round tables in partnership with temporary employment agencies to promote the hiring of women in the construction sector,
Visits to schools
Participation and organization of sports events
Visits to construction sites
Search for godmothers and godfathers
