From beans to recognition: Matéo wins a prize at the Salon du Chocolat
Mateo COSNEFROY (Agriculture, 2019, Rouen), co-founder of Racine Carrée, is extremely proud to have won the Prix de l'Éthique at the Salon du Chocolat de Paris!
This prestigious distinction rewards an exemplary approach, where each square of chocolate tells a human and responsible story:
- Total traceability: from the selection of producers to artisanal processing in Saint-Jeannet (Alpes-Maritimes), Racine Carrée controls every stage of the "fresh bean-to-bar" process.
- Fair prices: a strong commitment to sustainable partnerships and stable remuneration for producers.
- Respect for terroirs: natural farming practices, soil preservation and transmission of traditional know-how.
- Purity of taste: no additives, no artificial additives, just cocoa beans and a little sugar.
Beyond the trophy, this recognition symbolizes the coherence and sincerity of the Racine Carrée project: from the cocoa tree to the bar, every decision reflects a vision of chocolate that is ethical, human and demanding.
What's next? Racine Carrée pursues its development: exploring new terroirs, strengthening its partnerships, and increasing its presence throughout France and Europe, always with the same ambition: to combine taste excellence and responsibility.
