2nd edition of the forum Planet A

Isabelle GATTIN and Michel PIERRE-FAUCON of the AGHYLE unit attended the PLANET A international forum which took place in Châlons-en-Champagne on June 27th and 28th, where they joined Christian Huyghe, Scientific Director of the INRA and Vice-Chairman of the Scientific Council of UnilaSalle, who was speaking at the plenary session on "Agriculture, remediation and soil protection solution". This forum, edition 2019, is a continuation of the debates initiated in 2018, gathering, under the high patronage of the Presidency of the Republic and in the presence of Prime Minister Édouard Philippe, 390 actors (researchers, institutions, policy makers, companies, experts, farmers, civil society, ...) from 32 countries. The objectives, through conferences, workshops and round tables this year was to focus on the issue of soils under the title - Earth, matter, planet: the quality of soils for living health, to achieve concrete proposals to submit to the public authorities.

2E EDITION DU FORUM PLANET A

- Isabelle GATTIN et Michel PIERRE-FAUCON de l'unité AGHYLE ont assisté au Forum international PLANET A qui s'est déroulé à Châlons-en-Champagne (51) les 27 et 28 juin dernier, où ils ont rejoint Christian HUYGHE, Directeur scientifique de l'INRA et Vice-Président du Conseil scientifique d'UnilaSalle, qui intervenait dans le cadre de la plénière sur « L'agriculture, solution de remédiation et de protection des sols ». Ce forum, édition 2019, s'est inscrit dans la continuité des débats initiés en 2018, rassemblant, sous le haut patronage de la Présidence de la République et en présence du Premier Ministre Édouard PHILIPPE, 390 acteurs (chercheurs, institutions, décideurs politiques, entreprises, experts, agriculteurs, société civile, …) venus de 32 pays. Les objectifs, à travers des conférences, des ateliers et des tables rondes était cette année de mettre au centre de la réflexion la problématique des sols sous le titre - Terre, matière, planète : la qualité des sols pour la santé du vivant, pour aboutir à des propositions concrètes à soumettre aux pouvoirs publics.
