The collective book "Facing risks in agriculture" by the Chair of Risk Management in Agriculture, co-edited by Sylvie LUPTON, Véronique CHAUVEAU-AUSSOURD (Agriculture, 1989, Beauvais) and Hanitra RANDRIANASOLO-RAKOTOBE was published by L'Harmattan.

This book covers the main risks: ecological risks (climate change, pesticides), market risks (volatility of input prices and agricultural commodity prices), and occupational risks. It develops most of the ways of managing these risks. It undertakes to characterize the vulnerability of exploitations.
