Alumni days: Ela MVOLO EVINA ALEGUE (Energy Engineering & Digital Systems, 2019, Amiens)
- When you finished your studies at ESIEE, did you stay in France? Did you move to another country?
During my final year at ESIEE, I joined a double degree program with UTC (research master's in mechatronics), and then continued my career in France.
I joined a CIFRE (Conventions Industrielles de Formation par la Recherche) PhD program in collaboration with the Institut Pascal (Université Clermont Auvergne), which I carried out mainly in companies in the Grand Est region of France.
- What has been your career path since graduating (internship? further studies? various jobs?)?
After completing my engineering degree, I went on to do a CIFRE thesis on the interface between industrial robotics and metal additive manufacturing. This experience enabled me to tackle complex issues while remaining rooted in the realities of the industrial field. Today, I'm pursuing my career as an R&D engineer in automation and robotics, with a strong ambition: to bridge the gap between research, innovation and industrial transformation.
- How do you imagine your future (dream job, dream country, etc.)?
I see myself in a high-impact role, at the intersection of technology, industrial strategy and knowledge transfer. My dream job? Running an innovation cluster in robotics or digital manufacturing, while contributing to projects with a social or environmental impact. As for the location... I'm open to the world, as long as the environment is stimulating and meaningful.
